ANN WILLIAMS, the wife of George Mawbey, arrived in Sydney with her parents and four siblings on Monday 21 October 1833.
They came on the Mary Catharine from Liverpool, England via Hobart Town.
Her parents were David and Alice and her siblings Margaret, John, Jane and David Jnr.
David Snr was a cooper, a maker and repairer of wooden barrels used for storage of food and drink.
His skills would have been much in demand in the fledgling colony of New South Wales at that time.
Ann was 13 when she arrived and 19 when she married Geo. Mawbey at St Philip's Church of England in Sydney.
